If you are running NETLAB+ version 25 and have already run the NDG PVE post-install script, you will need to update and re-run it to version 0.7 or later. This is to fix an issue related to custom CPU types for Proxmox.
Why is this needed?
Proxmox does not automatically include a flag for VMs that run a nested hypervisor. The NDG PVE post-install script fixes this by adding the required settings, ensuring these VMs can function properly.
What do you need to do?
If you have already run the script, please run it again. Instructions for running the NDG PVE post-install script can be found at https://netlab-docs.netdevgroup.com/vmi/proxmox/install/post_install_script/
A note for mixed CPU environments:
If your NETLAB+ system has a mix of both AMD and Intel servers, the script will not be able to automatically configure the custom CPU types. In this case, please contact us for a manual fix.
If all your servers use the same type of CPU (all AMD or all Intel), the script will detect this and configure everything for you.
