NDG is pleased to provide our customers the opportunity to participate in the beta release of lab development for the VMware vSphere Install, Configure, Manage (ICM) v5.5 course. VMware vSphere ICM v5.5 labs are supported using the VMware ICM 5.5 Pod. All lab components are 100% virtualized (i.e. ESXi-in-ESXi) to achieve a high pod to physical host ratio, at a significantly lower cost point relative to traditional delivery of ICM. Using virtualization and the sharing and scheduling capabilities of NETLAB+, each student (or team of students) has access to their own set of virtual equipment, which they may maintain exclusive use of throughout the course.
Please be aware that the labs and VMs are subject to change in the production release.
For the implementation of the VMware ICM Pod for v5.5, it is necessary to request virtual machine templates for the VMware ICM v5.5 pod from CSSIA. Using these templates will simplify your setup, since the virtual machines will be pre-configured. See the NETLAB+ VMware ICM v5.5 Pod Guide for details.
The VMware vSphere Install, Configure, Manage (ICM) v5.5 labs are available to customers who meet the following criteria:
